They are a great invention. They're very effective and sit quite flat to the wall or window so they're not space hungry. They are however permanent, and not the most attractive accessory. For rooms that are hot almost all year round they're the ideal solution. However, if you only need it for a couple of months, you might not desire to spend the rest of the year looking at it.
